The short version: MirrorEdge AI: Studio processes your recordings on your computer, iPhone or iPad. Licensing, purchases and optional personal accounts use online services. We use account and purchase information to provide access, remember paid machine finishes and prevent fraud. We do not sell personal information or use advertising trackers.
Editing, playback, machine instruments, waveform and spectrogram rendering, and export run locally. These functions do not upload your audio or video to MirrorEdge AI. Projects, recovery data, settings and presets are stored on your computer, iPhone or iPad. The app does not include advertising, behavioral analytics or automatic crash-report uploads.
Open from link, in the Windows and Mac apps, contacts the address you provide and any hosting services needed to retrieve that file. Those services receive ordinary network information, such as your IP address and the requested URL, under their own policies.
Activation and renewal checks send your license email address, computer name and, when required, purchase possession proof to mirroredgeai.com. We store activation records, plan and payment references, and access dates to validate purchases and enforce device limits. The app may refresh access in the background. Our service logs record requests and security events; these can contain IP addresses, license identifiers and email addresses.
Direct/Windows customers can verify an email address to create a personal account. Sign-in uses a temporary emailed code. We store your email, account identifier, hashed code and session verifiers, verification attempts, device names and access timestamps. We also store a hashed client identifier to limit abusive verification requests. Codes expire after ten minutes; sessions expire after thirty days. Expiration limits access and does not mean the underlying record is automatically deleted.
To keep your collection, we store linked license proof, purchased machine/finish identifiers, selected finishes, payment and refund/dispute references, and entitlement history. Canceling a subscription does not erase a separately purchased, unrevoked skin. Studio Team invitations and membership records contain the owner and member account identifiers and invited email address. An owner can manage membership; each member retains a separate skin collection.
Verification and invitation email is delivered through Google Workspace. Google receives the recipient address and message contents to deliver that email. We do not ask for or store your Google account password.
Apple handles payment and purchase restoration through your Apple Account. The app uses StoreKit to verify products, transaction status and subscription expiry. Local account and transaction identifiers bind cached access, owned finishes and unresolved purchase attempts to the correct Apple Account. This native purchase path does not require a separate personal account or send Apple purchase records to our direct licensing service. Apple processes App Store information under its own privacy policy.
Direct purchases, including purchases through the app's checkout in the Windows build, use Stripe. We receive customer and order details, product and transaction identifiers, amounts, payment status and refund/dispute records needed to deliver and support purchases. MirrorEdge AI does not store your full payment-card number. Downloading MirrorEdge AI: Studio from Microsoft Store does not make Microsoft the processor of a separate Stripe checkout.
We use Amazon Web Services to host our website and licensing service, Stripe for direct payments, and Google Workspace for account email. These providers process the information needed for their respective services. We may also disclose information when required by law or needed to protect customers and the service from fraud or misuse.
The hosted Studio Assistant remains disabled for this release. Opening its unavailable panel does not upload recordings or start an AI conversation. We will update these disclosures before enabling a service that sends conversation content to an AI provider.
We retain account and purchase records while needed to provide your account, restore owned finishes, handle support, prevent duplicate charges, resolve disputes and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. We do not promise that signing out, canceling a subscription or a verification code expiring deletes these records.
To request access, correction or deletion, contact the address below. We verify the requester before changing account data. Deleting account or entitlement records can affect restoration of licenses and skins; we will explain that consequence before acting. Records required for legal, payment or dispute obligations may need to be retained. Apple and Stripe manage information held in their own services under their policies.
Our website and API keep access and security logs, including IP address, requested path and time. We do not use advertising trackers.
